International Development Group, LLC (IDG) is pleased to announce its selection as a member to the prestigious technical services panel under Pillar 4 for the Australia-Papua New Guinea Economic Partnership (APEP). This panel membership formally recognizes IDG’s capacity to provide high-level expertise to development programs funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). It also validates IDG’s deep expertise and proven ability to deliver highly relevant services in complex development contexts, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region, including in Papa New Guinea.
The APEP program is a multi-sectoral investment that supports the Government of Papua New Guinea (GoPNG) in achieving sustained economic growth and a higher standard of living for its citizens. Following a competitive Request for Expressions of Interest (APEP-2025-EOI-011), IDG was selected for membership in the 12-month panel arrangement (running from May 2025 to February 2026, with a possibility of extension). Selection on the technical services panel strategically places IDG to potentially contribute to two out of four categories of the APEP End of Program Outcome (EOPO)/Pillar 4: Fostering Inclusive Growth and Expanded Livelihoods:
- Category 1: Agriculture & Market Development
- Category 4: Research & Policy Analysis
As a panel member, IDG will be positioned to receive formal requests for quotations (RFQs) over the next year from Abt Global Australia, APEP’s managing contractor, for specific, short-term services that fall within the appointed categories. These services will contribute to APEP’s efforts to improve the efficiency of export commodity value chains (like coffee, cocoa, and vanilla) and strengthen fresh produce value chains for domestic markets.
IDG’s inclusion on this panel positions the firm as a pre-qualified and trusted partner for DFAT-funded initiatives, ready to deliver enhanced agricultural productivity, strengthen value chain operations, and provide evidence-based policy research.
