IDG is conducting an assessment of the Maximizing Agricultural Revenue and Key Enterprises in Targeted Sites (MARKETS) project in Nigeria, a $52 million, USAID-funded activity that aims to improve rural livelihoods by expanding economic opportunities in agricultural sectors in Nigeria. The assessment, a task order under the Global Business, Trade and Investment-II (GBTI II) IQC, reviews the economic impact of MARKETS, including job creation, increase in rural incomes, targeted value chain development, access to agricultural credit, and improved agricultural practices. Other GBTI II task orders Sibley has implemented include assessment activities in Ghana, Senegal, and South Africa.
