USAID EDGE Armenia Business Enabling Environment (ABEE) Activity hosted a joint ceremony with the Armenian Ministry of Economy to officially hand-over the government’s new Investment Reform Roadmap.
On Friday July 22nd the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Armenia Business Enabling Environment (ABEE) Activity facilitated a joint ceremony with the Armenian Ministry of Economy to officially hand-over the government’s new Investment Reform Roadmap. USAID Mission Director, John Allelo, presented the Roadmap to Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan.
Mr. Kerobyan appreciated the important work carried out by USAID and emphasized that the Roadmap, sets high expectations for Armenia’s economic future. ABEE international and local experts each shared presentations during the event to discuss key findings of the Roadmap. They also shared vital next steps to achieve the recommendations of the Roadmap, one of which is to attract and increase foreign direct investment in order to lead Armenia towards sustainable
economic growth.
After the Investment Reform Roadmap Event, ABEE Investment Policy Advisor, Declan Murphy, presented certificates to the graduates of his Masterclass program on best practice in investment policy and promotion. Many of the graduates were from Enterprise Armenia, which is Armenia’s national investment promotion authority.
