IDG has experience with multiple donors and various types of contracts. IDG uses Deltek accounting software, the industry standard for US government contractors, as the backbone of the company’s financial management system. Accounting and financial management practices are fully compliant with the requirements and expectations of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), AID Acquisition Regulations (AIDAR), and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Most IDG work has been implemented for USAID, although the company also has done work for DFID and the World Bank, and is familiar with the contracting and reporting requirements of these institutions.
Time & Materials (T&M) contracts
IDG has worked on numerous task orders under the GBTI II Indefinite Quantity Contract.
Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contracts
IDG has experience with CPFF contracts, and maintains an indirect cost structure needed to undertake work on a CPFF basis.
Fixed-Price contracts
IDG has worked on a fixed-price contract basis, and has the financial management and monitoring tools needed to be able to successfully manage risks associated with fixed-price contract work.
Local subcontracting
IDG has extensive experience in subcontracting to cooperating country organizations under various subcontracting forms — T&M, CPFF, and fixed-price. IDG has worked closely with USAID mission contract offices to ensure full approval of approaches to local subcontracting. IDG also works closely with local organizations to help them to acquire everything needed to become a USAID contracting organization — sound accounting, proper reporting, DUNS numbers, and understanding of and adherence to the FAR and AIDAR.
