The United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth (EDGE) Project is seeking a professional service provider to organize and implement a ‘Digitalization of Farms in Western Balkan 6 Countries.’ Specifically, the project aims to establish a remote monitoring and advisory system on selected farms within Western Balkan 6 countries.

The USAID Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth Project (EDGE), implemented by International Development Group LLC (IDG), is a 4-to-5-year regional activity in Europe and Eurasia (E&E). Its aims to create inclusive, sustainable economic growth and to support intra-regional and Euro-Atlantic integration. EDGE seeks to generate synergies among the USAID projects focused on economic growth and to bring together stakeholders across countries to collaborate on mutual problems. The activities under EDGE are designed to promote regionalization, reduce barriers to trade, and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in identified value chains: (1) agriculture and ag processing; (2) light manufacturing; and (3) tourism. The project also aims to assist SMEs in these value chains in adopting and utilizing information and communication technology.
